Daily Qur'an & Hadith 04 July 2019 (30 Shawal 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[06] Surah Al-An'am [The Cattle]
Ayat 20. Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) as a Messenger of Allah, and they also know that there is no Ilah (God) but Allah and Islam is Allah’s Religion), as they recognize their own sons. Those who destroy themselves will not believe
Tafseer of Surah Al An'am (The Cattle) Ayat 20. Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know. The People of the Book should have known all this as well as "they knew their own sons," as their past traditions and teaching should have made them receptive of the new Message. Some commentators construe the demonstrative pronoun "this" to refer to the Prophet. In that case the interpretation would be: The People of the Book know Muhammad as well as they know their own sons; they know him to be true and upright, they know him to be in the line of Abraham: they know him to correspond to the description of the prophet foretold among themselves; but selfishness induces some of them to act against their own knowledge and conceal the truth.. In both passages the pronoun translated "this" may mean "him" and refer to Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, as some Commentators think. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe;

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Safwan bin Assal (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A Jew asked his companion to take him to the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) ; and when they came to The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), they asked him about the nine clear signs (given to Prophet Musa PBUH). Safwan narrated the long Hadith which concludes: They kissed the hands of the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) and said: "We testify that you are a (True) Prophet.''
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2733]
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-An'am Ayat 20Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him image001.jpg (Muhammad [SAWW] (PBUH) or the Kab’ah at Makkah) as they recognize their sons” This Hadith is one of the signs of the truthfulness of Prophet hood of Muhammad  image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), the last of the Prophets of Allah, as mention in Quran also the people of scripture know very well about the prophet hood of Muhammad the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg  [SAWW](PBUH), we Muslim when not following Sunnah also act in not believing in prophet hood and the truthfulness of Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) in hidden way, and not having sincerity to Allah and the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), Sincerity to Allah and the Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) means sincere confirmation of his Prophet hood, faithful obedience of his orders and adherence to his Sunnah.

Facing a difficult marriage? Then, this is for you. Let’s all say ameen!
Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Longing for Death
Narrated Anas (RA): If I had not heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "You should not long for death," I would have longed (for it).

(Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 90, Hadith 339)

A wonderful reminder for when things seem like they are too much, when tribulations overtake our thinking that we should never long for death. Every day is an opportunity to worship Allah more, gain more blessings and reward for our struggles. There is the beauty of hope in Islam, embrace it. Know that your Creator hears your every call.

On the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'Allah, the Exalted, will continue to stretch out His Hand in the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and continue to stretch his hand in the daytime so that the sinners of the night may repent, until the sun rises from the west.''

Daily Qur'an & Hadith 03 July 2019 (29 Shawal 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[06] Surah Al-An'am [The Cattle]
Ayat 19. Say (O Muhammad image001.jpg[SAWW](PBUH) : "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur’an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him."
Tafseer of Surah Al An'am (The Cattle) Ayat 19. Say (O Muhammad image001.jpg[SAWW](PBUH): "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "(Allah) is witness between me and you; This Qur´an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (own) knowledge, and the angels bear witness: But enough is Allah for a witness. Inspiration, though it is clothed in human language, and shaped to the personality of the inspired one, proceeds from the knowledge of Allah. that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah." Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him."

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "By Him in Whose Hand my life is, I sometimes thought of giving orders for firewood (fuel) to be collected, then for proclaiming the Adhan for Salat. Then I would appoint an Imam to lead Salat, and then go to the houses of those who do not come to perform Salat in (compulsory congregation), and set fire to their houses on them.''
[Al-Bukhari Volume 1, Book 11, Hadith # 617]..
Lesson: This Hadith shows utmost importance of Salat in congregation and also is quoted by such people who hold that those who are physically fit, resident and have no valid reason for not coming to the mosque for Salat, for them Salat in the mosque (Juma’ah) is a must. Some people are of the view that it is Sunnah Muakkadah (an established Sunnah, hence compulsory) and they take such Ahadith for inducement because if performance of Salat in congregation was obligatory, those who missed it would have been punished by the Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), but we do not find any instance of it in his life. It clearly shows that it is Sunnah. If we go by logic, this view seems to be more correct. But we cannot, at the same time, lose sight of the importance that has been attached to the Salat in congregation especially the fact that it is 27 times more rewarding than the Salat offered individually. This Hadith also tells us that it is permissible to take criminals and sinful people from their homes by surprise.

Imagine spreading knowledge to millions of people while earning immense rewards and blessings
Today's Beautiful Hadith is about The Ruler
Narrated Ma'qil (RA): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise."

(Bukhari, Vol. 9, Book 89, Hadith 264)

Being responsible for a people may seem like a blessing but it is a big responsibility and if justice is not exerted, fairness is not exhibited then it can be a curse. May Allah make us all of the people of Paradise. Ameen!

INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO RECEIVE THEIR DAILY HADITH
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect.''

Daily Qur'an & Hadith 02 July 2019 (28 Shawal 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[06] Surah Al-An'am [The Cattle]
Ayat 17. And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things.
Ayat 18. And He is the Irresistible, above His slaves, and He is the All-Wise, Well-acquainted with all things.
Tafseer of Surah Al An'am (The Cattle) Ayat 17 & 18. "If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things. The vulgar worship false gods out of fear that they would harm them or hope that they would confer some benefit on them. These false gods can do neither. All
power, all goodness is in the hands of Allah. All else is pretence or illusion. 18. "He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things."

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) used to say at the conclusion of prayer: "La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku, wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai'in Qadir. Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayta, wa la mu`tiya lima mana'ta, wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi, minkal-jaddu (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him, His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent. O Allah! None can deny that which You bestow and none can bestow that which You hold back; and the greatness of the great will be of no avail to them against You).''
[Al-Bukhari Book 09, Chapter 92, Hadith # 395].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-An'am Ayat 17. And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He, and if He touches you with good, then He is Able to do all things” That is, good fortune and prosperity will not be of any avail before Allah. What will really benefit a person before Him are Faith and virtuous deeds. The prayer quoted in this Hadith makes a special mention of His Oneness.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Taking Back Gifts
Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The one who takes back his gift is like a dog swallowing its own vomit, and we (believers) should not act according to this bad example."

(Bukhari Vol. 9, Book 86, Hadith 105)

When giving gifts is a sunnah, taking them back is reviled. Give with your heart and know that what you will get back is from Allah.
