Daily Qur'an & Hadith 31 May 2019 (25 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 96. Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) water game and its use for food - for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel, but forbidden is (the pursuit of) land game as long as you are in a state of Ihram (for Hajj or 'Umrah). And fear Allah to Whom you shall be gathered back.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 96. Lawful to you is the pursuit of water-game and its use for food,- for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel; but forbidden is the pursuit of land game;- as long as ye are in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. And fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be gathered back. Water game: i.e., game found in water, e.g., water fowl, fish, etc. "Water" includes sea, river, lake, pond, etc.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked: "O Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH)! If I realize Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?'' He image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) replied, "You should supplicate: Allahumma innaka afuwwun, tuhibbul-afwa, fa fu anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).''
[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 3513].
Lesson : Although no specific sign of Lailat-ul-Qadr has been mentioned in the Ahadith, some eminent scholars have stated, on the basis of their own experiences and observation that since angels descend on this night one feels a peculiar tranquility and peace of mind and one is overwhelmed with a unique tenderness of heart. The night is neither very hot nor very cold but a temperate one. Similarly, the sun that rises on the next day is also not very hot etc. etc. Allah knows the truth of the matter despite all that has been said in this regard. In any case, on this auspicious night every Muslim should earnestly pray to Allah for the forgiveness of his sins with reference to His Attribute of Forgiveness.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Dried Dates
Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has dried dates, then let him break the fast with that, and whoever does not, then let him break the fast with water, for indeed water is purifying."

(Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Book 8, Hadith 13)

Charity does not decrease wealth. This beautiful Hadith means that if you give just £10 or £20 to a good cause, Allah returns it back to you TENFOLD. 10 times what you gave. Alhamdulillah!

Whoever establishes the prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not to show off) then all his past sins will be forgiven.

Daily Qur'an & Hadith 30 May 2019 (24 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 95. O you who believe! Kill not game while you are in a state of Ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah (pilgrimage), and whosoever of you kills it intentionally, the penalty is an offering, brought to the Kab’ah, of an eatable animal (i.e. sheep, goat, cow, etc.) equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or, for expiation, he should feed Masakin (poor persons), or its equivalent in Saum(fasting), that he may taste the heaviness (punishment) of his deed. Allah has forgiven what is past, but whosoever commits it again, Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is All Mighty, All-Able of Retribution.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 95. O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka´ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed.. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution. The pilgrim garb, Ihram, has been explained in 2:196. For an inadvertent breach of the game rule there is apparently no penalty. Intentional breach will be prevented, if possible, by previous action. If in some case the preventive action is not effective, the penalty is prescribed. The penalty is in three alternatives: an equivalent animal should be brought to the Ka'ba for sacrifice; If so, the meat would be distributed to the poor; or the poor must be fed, with grain or money, according to the value of the animal if one had been sacrificed: or the offender must fast as many days as the number of the poor who would have been fed under the second alternative. Probably the last alternative would only be open if the offender is too poor to afford the first or second, but on this point Commentators are not agreed. The "equivalent animal" in the first alternative would be a domestic animal of similar value or weight in meat or of similar shape (e.g., goat to antelope), as adjudged by two just men on the spot. The alternatives about the penalty and its remission ("Allah forgives what is past") or exaction explain the last two lines of the verse: being "Exalted and Lord of Retribution", Allah can remit or regulate according to His just laws.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) came out to inform us about the Night of Qadr but two Muslims were quarreling with each other.. So, the Prophet said, "I came out to inform you about the Night of Qadr but such and such persons were quarreling, so the news about it had been taken away; yet that might be for your own good, so search for it on the 25th, 27th and 29th (of Ramadan).
[Al-Bukhari Volume 3, Book 32, Number 240]
Lesson : We learn from this Hadith that Suhur is a distinctive mark with which Allah has blessed the Muslim Ummah. We learn from this Hadith that Lailat-ul-Qadr occurs in any of the last three odd nights - 25th, 27th and 29th - of the last ten nights of Ramadan. Its exact date has not been revealed for the reason that people keep themselves awake for prayer for a larger number of nights. Had its date been fixed, people would have kept awake for prayer only on that night.

On the 25th night of Ramadan, will YOU increase YOUR blessings tenfold?
Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Best Charity
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), which kind of charity is best? He said: 'Giving charity when you are in good health, and feeling stingy, hoping for a long life and fearing poverty."'

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 23, Hadith 2543)

Charity does not decrease wealth. This beautiful Hadith means that if you give just £10 or £20 to a good cause, Allah returns it back to you TENFOLD. 10 times what you gave. Alhamdulillah!

Please donate here while you have your health and wealth, with the intention of receiving Allah's Blessings. May Allah SWT accept your efforts on this blessed night.

Daily Qur'an & Hadith 29 May 2019 (23 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 94. O you who believe! Allah will certainly make a trial of you with something in (the matter of) the game that is well within reach of your hands and your lances, that Allah may test who fears Him unseen. Then whoever transgresses thereafter, for him there is a painful torment.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 94. O ye who believe! Allah doth but make a trial of you in a little matter of game well within reach of your hands and your lances, that He may test who feared him unseen: any who transgress thereafter, will have a grievous penalty. Literally, "know", Cf. 3:166 and 3:154, Game is forbidden in the Sacred Precincts. If we deliberately break that injunction, we have no faith and reverence.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) came out during the night and observed (TARAWEEH) prayer in the mosque and some of the people prayed along with him. When it was morning the people talked about this and so a large number of people gathered there. The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) went out for the second night, and they (the people) prayed along with him. When it was morning the people began to talk about it. So the mosque thronged with people on the third night. He (the Holy Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) ) came out and they prayed along with him. When it was the fourth night, the mosque was filled to its utmost capacity but the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) did not come out. Some persons among then cried:" Prayer." But the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) did not come to them till he came out for the morning prayer. When he had completed the morning prayer, he turned his face to the people and recited Tashahhud (I bear testimony that there is no god but Allah and I bear testimony that Muhammad is His Messenger) and then said: Your affair was not hidden from me in the night, but I was afraid that (my observing prayer continuously) might make the night (TARAWEEH) prayer obligatory for you and you might be unable to perform it.
[Muslim Book 004, Chapter 117 Hadith, Number 1667].
Lesson: It is well to keep the priorities of things mentioned in the Hadith as one gets the reward of following the Sunnah remembrance of Allah day and night.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Poor Person
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The poor person is not the one who goes round the people and ask them for a mouthful or two (of meals) or a date or two but the poor is that who has not enough (money) to satisfy his needs and whose condition is not known to others, that others may give him something in charity, and who does not beg of people."
