Daily Qur'an & Hadith 23 May 2019 (17 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 82. Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikun(see V.2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: "We are Christians." That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 82. Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. The meaning is not that they merely call themselves Christians, but that they are such sincere Christians that they appreciate Muslim virtues, as did the Abyssinians to whom Muslim refugees went during the persecution in Makkah. Qissis: I have translated as "devoted to learning," following the Commentators. It seems to be a foreign word, possibly Abyssinian rather than Syriac, as the reference seems to be to the Abyssinian Christians. Their real devotion to learning and the renunciation of the world by the Monastic Orders are contrasted with the hypocrisy and arrogance of the Pharisees and Scribes.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allahimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said,  "He who observes optional prayer (Taraweeh prayers) throughout Ramadan, out of sincerity of Faith and in the hope of earning reward will have his past sins pardoned.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 32, Hadith # 226].
Lesson: May Allah forgives all our sins by his grace in coming month of Ramadan. (Ameen).

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Fasting
It was narrated that Raja bin Haiwah (RA) said: "Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (RA) narrated to me: 'I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), tell me of something by which Allah will benefit me. He said: Take to fasting, for there is nothing like it."'

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 22, Hadith 132)

Thank-you for reading and have a blessed day and just before you go, say Alhamdulillah and start your day by earning blessings :)

INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO RECIEVE THEIR DAILY HADITH
On the authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'The deeds are considered by the intentions, and a person will get the reward according to his intention. So whoever emigrated for Allah and His Messenger, his emigration will be for Allah and His Messenger; and whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration would be for what he emigrated for."
