Daily Qur'an & Hadith 10 June 2019 (05 Shawal 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 109. On the Day when Allah will gather the Messengers together and say to them: "What was the response you received (from men to your teaching)? They will say: "We have no knowledge, verily, only You are the All Knower of all that is hidden (or unseen, etc.)."
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 109. One day will Allah gather the messengers together, and ask: "What was the response ye received (from men to your teaching)?" They will say: "We have no knowledge: it is Thou Who knows in full all that is hidden." A scene of the Day of Reckoning is put before us in graphic words, showing the responsibility and the limitations of the Prophets of Allah, sent to preach His Message to men, with special reference to the Message of Jesus. The Messengers are sent to preach the Truth. What fantastic forms the Message takes in men's reactions to it was beyond their knowledge at the time, and beyond their responsibility.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah cid:image004.gif@01D51DAC.63821EB0[SAWW](PBUH) said, "When Allah desires good for a ruler, He appoints for him a sincere adviser who will remind him if he forgets and helps him if he remembers. When Allah wishes for him the contrary, He appoints for him a bad adviser who will not remind him if he forgets, nor will he help him if he remembers.'' [Sanan Abu Dawood, Hadith # 2932].
Lesson:." In the recruitment of good and scrupulous aides lies the Blessing of Allah to a ruler because such aides will prove helpful to him in making sound judgements, reaching right conclusions and guarding him against leaning towards evil ways. Yet, if all of these aides are self-seekers, flatterers and corrupt, they will undoubtedly influence his decision-making in a bad way. And one can believe that the end of the ruler will be far from being desirable because history also supports this view. As for the Hereafter, he will be hardly safe from the infernal torment.

Today's Hadith is about What Remains Behind
It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (RA) said: "I heard Anas bin Malik (RA) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The dead person is followed by three: His family, his wealth and his deeds. Then two of them come back: His family and his wealth, and there remain only his deeds."'

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 21, Hadith 121)

Thank-you for reading and have a blessed day and just before you go, say Alhamdulillah and start your day by earning blessings :)

On the authority of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
