Daily Qur'an & Hadith 18 June 2019 (13 Shawal 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 118. ('Iesa PBUH (Jesus), said O Lord)"If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All Mighty, the All Wise"
Ayat 119. Allah will say: "This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) - they shall abide therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they with Him. That is the great success (Paradise).
Ayat 120. To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is therein, and He is Able to do all things.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 118, 119 & 120. "If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servant: If Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise." The Master can justly punish His servants for disobedience: no one can say to Him nay, for He is high above all. But if He chooses to forgive. He in His wisdom sees things that we mortals cannot see.. This is the limit of intercession that men of God can make on behalf of sinners. 119. Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah. That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires). Fawz = Felicity, happiness, achievement, salvation, the attainment or fulfilment of desires. What a beautiful definition of salvation or the end of life!- that we should win Allah's good pleasure and that we should reach the stage at which His goods pleasure is all-in-all to us. 120. To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah cid:image003.gif@01D2B3EE.1B7F94A0 [SAWW](PBUH) delivered a Khutbah to us the like of which I had never heard from him before. In the course of the Khutbah, he said: "If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much". Thereupon those present covered their faces and began to sob.
[Al-Bukhari Book 08,Chapter 76, Hadith # 493]
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ma'idah Ayat O Lord)"If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All Mighty, the All Wise." This Hadith furnishes positive proof of the fact that the Companions of the Prophet cid:image003.gif@01D2B3EE.1B7F94A0 (PBUH) used to weep out of fear of Allah when they heard sermons and preaching’s. It induces us to follow them.

Feed the hungry, make a difference.
Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Feeding Orphans
Abu Bakr ibn Hafs (RA) reported that 'Abdullah would not eat unless an orphan was at his table.

(Sahih, Al-Albani, Book 7, Hadith 8)

If you have your parents with you, say Alhamdulillah. If you don’t, then say a dua for the orphans of the world and give thanks for what you have. The very least we can do is give these amazing orphans our duas.

On the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'The family of Muhammad never possessed a measure of wheat from dawn to dusk although they were nine houses (to feed).''
