Daily Qur'an & Hadith 21 June 2019 (16 Shawal 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[06] Surah Al-An'am [The Cattle]
Ayat 3. And He is Allah (to be worshipped Alone) in the heavens and on the earth, He knows what you conceal and what you reveal, and He knows what you earn (good or bad).
Tafseer of Surah Al An'am (The Cattle) Ayat 3. And He is Allah in the heavens and on earth. He knows what ye hide, and what ye reveal, and He knows the (recompense) which ye earn (by your deeds). It is folly to suppose that Allah only reigns in the heavens. He also reigns on earth. He knows all our secret thoughts and motives, and the real worth of all that is behind what we care to show. It is by our deeds that He judges us; for our deeds, whether good or evil, we shall get due recompense in due time. therefrom."

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah cid:image004.gif@01D0E904.79013E50 [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah is Forbearer and He loves forbearance, and rewards for forbearance while He does not reward severity, and does not give for anything besides it (forbearance).''
[Muslim Book 32, Chapter 21, Hadith # 6273]
Lesson:  Mildness is the opposite of harshness. Allah enjoins softness and dislikes stiffness in human relations. Allah assures of reward for gentle behavior in society, not for unkindness or anything like that. However, inflexibility is preferred to flexibility when there arises a question of religious matters and the limits set by Allah.

Today's Hadith is about The World & It’s People
It was narrated that Abu Kabshah Al-Anmari (RA) said:“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘The likeness of this nation is that of four people: A man to whom Allah gives wealth and knowledge, so he acts according to his knowledge with regard to his wealth, spending it as it should be spent; a man to whom Allah gives knowledge, but he does not give him wealth, so he says: “If I had been given (wealth) like this one, I would have done what (the first man) did.” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘They will be equal in reward. And a man to whom Allah gives wealth but does not give knowledge, so he squanders his wealth and spends it in inappropriate ways; and a man to whom Allah gives neither knowledge nor wealth, and he says: “If I had (wealth) like this one, I would do what (the third man) did.” The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘They are equal in their burden (of sin).’”

(Sahih Vol. 5, Book 37, Hadith 4228)

Which kind are you? Your intention is everything. Live being grateful everyday so that your state of shukr elevates your rank on the Day of Judgement and always intend to act and spend in the way of Allah. May Allah guide, protect and bless all of us (Ameen)!

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'May he be disgraced! May he be disgraced! May he be disgraced, whose parents, one or both, attain old age during his life time, and he does not enter Jannah (by rendering being dutiful to them).''
