Daily Qur'an & Hadith 11 May 2019 (05 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 68. Say (O Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! You have nothing (as regards guidance) till you act according to the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), and what has (now) been sent down to you from your Lord (the Qur’an)." Verily, that which has been sent down to you (Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) from your Lord increases in many of them their obstinate rebellion and disbelief. So be not sorrowful over the people who disbelieve.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 68. Say: Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increases in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith. In 5:26 Moses was told not to sorrow over a rebellious people. Here Muhammad is told not to sorrow over people without faith. The second situation is even more trying than the first. Rebellion may be a passing phase. Want of faith is an attitude of mind that is well-nigh hopeless. Yet the Prophet patiently reasoned with them and bore their taunts and insults. If, the argument runs, you do not believe in anything, even in the things that you may be expected to believe in, how can you receive, in faith, Allah's Message that has come in another form? In fact your jealousy adds to your obstinacy and unbelief..

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, ”If one does not eschew lies and false conduct, Allah has no need that he should abstain from his food and his drink.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 31, Hadith # 127].
Lesson: This Hadith exhorts those observing Saum to fulfill all the requirements of fasting. One should not conduct himself in such a manner that on the one side he observes Saum and on the other he is fearless of Allah. To save himself from Allah's Wrath and to get the reward of the fasts, one must abstain from all sorts of vices, such as cheating, lying, backbiting, and using obscene language. The threat held against such people in this Hadith should make them fear that their Saum will go waste and they would be deprived of its reward. It does not mean that such people should start eating and drinking during Saum but what is intended is that they should save themselves from all kinds of sins so that they may earn the reward of Saum.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Suhoor
Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They said, "But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah).

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 31)

INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO RECIEVE THEIR DAILY HADITH
On the authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for.
