Daily Qur'an & Hadith 21 May 2019 (15 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 80. You see many of them taking the disbelievers as their Auliya' (protectors and helpers). Evil indeed is that which their own selves have sent forward before them, for that (reason) Allah’s Wrath fell upon them and in torment they will abide.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 80. Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the Unbelievers and take them as guardians and collaborators. Malicious indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result), that Allah’s wrath is on them, and in torment forever will they abide in nethermost parts of hell.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Amr bin Al-Aas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The difference between our observance of Saum (fasting) and that of the people of the Scriptures is Suhur (predawn meal in Ramadan).''
[Muslim Book 06, Chapter 09, Hadith # 2413].
Lesson : We learn from this Hadith that Suhur is a distinctive mark with which Allah has blessed the Muslim Ummah.

Your Zakat can change a mother's life forever
This Ramadan, help the mothers and babies who are most in need. Give generously and love endlessly just as the Prophet (saw) did.

The Qur’an says: “The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.” Qur’an 2
[Baqarah]:261–262]

During Ramadan, your rewards are increased for the charity you give. Giving to the less fortunate is the duty of every good Muslim, especially in this Holy Month. You want every penny of your Zakat to go towards the people who need it the most, and with Penny Appeal’s 100% Zakat policy, it does.

Give to Penny Appeal’s Fragile Lives appeal and know that your whole Zakat is being used to help fragile mothers and babies.

Rahma is a young mother from Kenya, she has a 2-month old son named Muhammad and she thanks Allah (swt) every day for her son’s good health and the wonderful medical care they received.

Before Muhammad, she suffered three miscarriages and endured agonising pain during her pregnancies. With the help of the Fragile Lives appeal she was able to receive proper medical attention with antenatal care and was able to deliver her son at the hospital.

You can help mothers and babies, like Rahma and Muhammad, this Ramadan by donating your Zakat to the Fragile Lives appeal.

Your charitable donation will reap double the rewards because the UK government is going to match your Zakat and Sadaqah £ for £, to provide help for even more mothers and babies in Pakistan and Kenya.

Yes - that's right - your donation with be doubled at no extra cost to you.

Thank you for being a member of our global community, have a blessed Ramadan. We hope you say Alhamdulillah and keep your blessings coming by donating your Zakat to a cause that desperately needs it.
