Daily Qur'an & Hadith 24 May 2019 (18 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 83. And when they (who call themselves Christians) listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger (Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH), you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of the truth they have recognised. They say: "Our Lord! We believe; so write us down among the witnesses.
Ayat 84. "And why should we not believe in Allah and in that which has come to us of the truth (Islamic Monotheism)? And we wish that our Lord will admit us (in Paradise on the Day of Resurrection) along with the righteous people (Prophet Muhammad  image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) and his Companions)."
Ayat 85. So because of what they said, Allah rewarded them Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), they will abide therein forever. Such is the reward of good doers.
Ayat 86. But those who disbelieved and belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), they shall be the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 83 to 86. And when they (The King of Habsha Ethiopia who was Christian) listen to the revelation received by the Messengerimage001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH)(recited in his Palace by Hazrat Jafar Tayar (May Allah be pleased with him), thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognise the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses. 84. "What cause can we have not to believe in Allah and the truth which has come to us, seeing that we long for our Lord to admit us to the company of the righteous?" 85. And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath,- their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good. 86. But those who reject Faith and belie our Signs,- they shall be companions of Hell-fire.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) used to seclude himself (in the mosque) during the last ten nights of Ramadan. He would say, "Search for Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in the last ten nights of Ramadan.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 32, Hadith # 237].
Lesson: We learn from this Hadith that (1). One should concentrate more on prayers and worship on the last ten nights of Ramadan than the first twenty nights, in the same way as one should do more worship in Ramadan than in the other months. 2. One should keep oneself awake for prayer, worship and glorification of Allah in the last ten nights of Ramadan so that one can attain the blessings of Lailat-ul-Qadr. 3. One should also persuade his family members to keep themselves awake for prayer and worship in the last ten odd nights of Ramadan so that they can also make efforts to please Allah. 4. Itikaf (seclusion in the mosque for prayers) in the last ten days of Ramadan is also a meritorious act for its being a practice of the Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH).

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Marriage
It was narrated that 'Abdullah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever among you can afford to get married, let him do so, and whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a restraint (Wija) for him."'

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 22, Hadith 152)

Thank-you for reading and have a blessed day and just before you go, say Alhamdulillah and start your day by earning blessings :)

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'Do not ask me unnecessarily about the details of the things which I do not mention to you. Verily, the people before you were doomed because they were used to putting many questions to their Prophets and had differences about their Prophets. Refrain from what I forbid you and do what I command you to the best of your ability and capacity.''
