Daily Qur'an & Hadith 14 May 2019 (08 Ramadan 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 72. Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa PBUH (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa PBUH (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode . And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 72. They do blaspheme who say: "(Allah) is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. Cf. Matt. 4:10, where Christ rebukes Satan for desiring the worship of other than Allah; John 20:17, where Christ says to Mary Magdalene, "Go unto my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father; and to my God and your God." Cf. also Luke 18:19, where Christ rebukes a certain ruler for calling him Good Master: "Why call thou me good? None is good, save One, that is, God." In Mark 12:29Jesus says: "The first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is One Lord", (Cf. 5:116-117).

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, "If any one of you forgetfully eats or drinks (while observing fasting) he should complete his Saum (fasting), for Allah has fed him and given him to drink.''
[Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 31, Hadith # 154].
Lesson : This Hadith tells us of a kindness and convenience of Islam that during the Saum if a person inadvertently does any such thing which destroys his Saum, i.e., eating, drinking, cohabitation with wife, etc., his Saum will remain intact due to forgetfulness, provided one abandons the act as soon as he remembers that he is observing Saum . He needs not make any expiation for such a Saum.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Traveling
Narrated `Aisha (RA) (the wife of the Prophet): Hamza bin `Amr Al-Aslami asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Should I fast while traveling?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "You may fast if you wish, and you may not fast if you wish."

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 50)

This is Mercy.

INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO RECIEVE THEIR DAILY HADITH
On the authority of Fadalah bin `Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'If you were to know what is in store for you with Allah, the Exalted, you would wish to augment your starvation and lack of provisions.''
