One should not take the respite for exemption

One should not take the respite for exemption

Abu Musa (May Allah bepleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, "Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor. But when He seizes him, He does not let him escape." Then he (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) recited, "Such is the Seizure of your Rubb when He seizes the(population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful (and) severe". (Soorah Hood 11:102) [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Commentary: One should not take the respite for exemption because no one knows when respite granted by Him will come to an end and punishment will follow.
