English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 56. And whosoever takes Allah, His Messenger [SAWW](PBUH), and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the party of Allah will be the victorious.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 56. As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, His Messenger [SAWW](PBUH) by following the Sunnah, and the (fellowship of companion of Prophet PBUH) true believers of Islam,- it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph in this world with rewards from Allah and also in hereafter.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Muawiya (May Allah be pleased with him) reported saying I heard The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) saying, "(And remember) that this nation (of true Muslims) There always will be one Group of True Followers that keep on following the Allah's teachings strictly (& safeguarding it) and they will not be harmed by any one going on a (wrong) different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established."
[Al-Bukhari & Muslim].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ma'idah Ayat 56. And whosoever takes Allah, His Messenger [[SAWW](PBUH) and those who have believed, as Protectors, then the party of Allah will be the victorious. Let their arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. Only such people who act upon the teachings of the Qur'an & Sunnah and abstain from what is forbidden by Allah. The Muslims of the early centuries of Islam were blessed with great honour by Allah because they loved and applied the Deen & Qur'an. Because of this meaningful attachment with the Qur'an & Sunnah, they made great achievements in religious and worldly spheres. Those who neglected the teachings of Islam will be disgraced and humiliated. May Allah guide and enable us to re-establish our contact with the True Deen, Qur'an & Sunnah so that we can regain our past glory. Exaltation and humiliation mentioned in the Hadith is bound to happen in both this life and the Hereafter.
