Daily Qur'an & Hadith 28 April 2019 (22 Shaban 1440)

English Translation of Al-Quran
[05] Surah Al-Ma'idah [The Table Spread With Food]
Ayat 57. O you who believe! Take not for Auliya' (protectors and helpers) those who take your religion for a mockery and fun from among those who received the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before you, nor from among the disbelievers; and fear Allah if you indeed are true believers.
Tafseer of Surah Al Ma'idah Ayat 57. O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed). It is not right that we should be in intimate association with those to whom religion is either a subject of mockery or at best is nothing but a plaything. They may be amused, or they may have other motives for encouraging you. But your association with them will sap the earnestness of your faith, and make you cynical and insincere.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Mu'adh (bin Jabal) (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah cid:image003.gif@01D4FDC2.14FB4000 [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah, the Exalted, has said: `For those who love one another for the sake of My Glory, (& not for family relationship or friendship) there will be seats of light for them (on the Day of Resurrection), and they will be envied by the Prophets and martyrs".
[At-Tirmidhi].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ma'idah Ayat 57. O you who believe! Take not for Auliya' (protectors and helpers) those who take your religion for a mockery and fun from among those who received the Scripture” This Hadith tells us that Allah will grant an exalted position to such people who love one another for His sake. "They will be envied by the Prophets and martyrs'' does not mean that they will be granted a place higher than even the Prophets because the highest position will be granted to the Prophets, as these are the best of Allah's creation. These words simply draw our attention to the superiority and the exalted position those who love one another for Allah's sake will have on the Day of Resurrection. Another Hadith explains Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah cid:image003.gif@01D4FDC2.14FB4000 [SAWW](PBUH) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah, the Exalted, will say: `Where are those who have mutual love for the sake of My Glory? Today I shall shelter them in My Shade when there will be no shade except Mine".
[Muslim]. It should be borne in mind that the shade referred to in the Hadith is the shade of Allah's Throne. Referring to this shade in the Arabic text as the Shade of Allah, is similar to the `she camel of Allah,' the `land of Allah' `the house of Allah' that are mentioned in the Qur'an. (Editor's Note)

Question time: What is the purpose of Allah’s creation?
Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Nearness to Allah
Abu Hurayrah (RA) reported: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) saying that Allah, the exalted and Glorious, stated: "I am near to the thought of my servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly, I remember him in assembly better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit, I draw near by the space (covered by) two hands, and if he walks towards me, I rush towards him."

(Sahih Muslim 2675, Book 48, Hadith 1)

Isn’t this just so beautiful…

Love our daily Hadiths? Why not forward to friends and family?

INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO RECEIVE THEIR DAILY HADITH
On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them), who said that the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
'A dinar you spend in Allah's way, or to free a slave, or as a charity you give to a needy person, or to support your family, the one yielding the greatest reward is that which you spend on your family.''
